Download Festival 2011!

Sworn Amongst have been confirmed to play this years Download Festival at Donington Park.

We are stoked to be playing the UK’s biggest rock/metal festival, following a year of extensive European touring with the likes of Annihilator, the Rotted and Man Must Die.

Sworn Amongst hit the Pepsi Max stage at 2PM* on Sunday 12th June... You gonna be there?

In other news, our New EP "Evolution" is set for imminent release. It sports two brand spankin' new tunes, which we are confident will rip your face off, plus a new, more rip-roaring version of Severance's Darkness. A re-recording of The Rules Of Engagement also features, with an appearance from Annihilator shredder Jeff Waters! As a special freebie bonus we're throwing in the hour-long 2010 tour diary Systematically Destroyed, last year's video for Exploited, and an exclusive desktop image. 

More announcements regarding festivals, tours, new merch, warm up shows, and a whole lot more coming very soon.

Sworn Amongst to headline the Bad Dog Metal stage at Hull’s Metieval Requiem Festival

Following he late withdrawal of ‘Beholder’, Sworn Amongst have stepped in to headline the Bad Dog metal stage at what will be one of the highlights on Hull’s 2011 metal and rock calendar.

Playing a home town show is always special, made even better as we leave for Scandinavia the following morning.

Sworn Amongst play the Metieval Requiem Festival @ Hull’s 41 East Coast on Saturday 16th of April. Followed by Copenhagen on the 19th, Frederikshavn on the 20th in Denmark, then Kristiansand, Sandnes in Norway on the 21st/22nd/23rd.

EP/DVD release Ft Jeff Waters & Euro Headline Tour!

First of all happy new year to all you metal heads out there, 2010 was an insane and busy year for us, with a huge amount of touring and the release of album number 2 "Severance" (of which we are extremely please to tell you was very well received throughout!)

2011 has already started out busy seeing us enter the studio to write an record a NEW release due for release March/April time to co-incide with our headline European tour of 6 weeks in duration, the release will feauture 2 brand new tracks PLUS 2 re-issues with a very special guest appearance for Annihilators very own Jeff Waters!!! The EP will also come with a bonus DVD with all of 2010's touring exploits and a look into life on the road with Sworn Amongst, we are also stoked to announce that the release is to be mixed by John Mitchell!

At present we are currently in the studio and have just finihed tracking the drums, we will be uploading footage of the sessions on our youtube channel very shortly from the band and Jeff Waters comments on his guest solo on "The Rules Of Engagement"

We are hoping to announce the dates for the Tour very shortly so watch this space and for more info, please add our new facebook page, myspace or swornamongst.com!

Sworn Amongst Host Show On Scuzz TV & Final Shows of 2010!

First, huge horns go out to all the people who tuned in to watch us invade Scuzz TV and hijack the couch! We hope you all enjoyed the show, had a laugh and a beer with us and enjoyed the bitchin’ tunes we selected for your listening and viewing pleasure! Both our latest videos Denounced & Exploited are circulating on Scuzz so keep an eye out for them!

Secondly, we have 2 final shows for 2010. First we return to The Pandemonium club in Maidstone Kent on the 11th of December alongside Beholder who have recently toured with industrial metal heavy weights Fear Factory! This is not to be missed!

Next up we have a return to Bradfords finest metal retreat - The Gasworks. with support! This is the clubs Xmas metal bash and our final night of the year so its fucking party time! We’ll have a HUGE selection of limited merch on sale too so come drink with us at the merch desk after the show! We will no doubt be well on our way to party island by then!

We also have 2 new tours to announce soon as well as video footage of us working on our 3rd studio album, more videos from Sworn Amongst 2010 touring exploits alongside a digital release which may feature a few special guests!

Total Annihilation Tour Over, Sworn Amongst Escape Nottingham Blaze & Jonny Harper’s Emergency Operation!

What the fuck!? What an experience that was!! The Total Annihilation Tour supporting Canadian metal legends Annihilator was fucking awesome, we’ve had some of the best and most insane crowds we’ve ever seen throughout the continent! Massive thanks to everyone who came down to make the tour as awesome as it was, everyone who bought merch, rocked out, shared beers with us and partied hard! Kudos & huge horns to Jeff, Dave, Alberto, Carlos, Verena, Pete, Jakob (Klaus), Andy and Jason, plus all the guys from Adimiron &
Svolk!

Sworn Amongst also narrowly escaped a Nottingham blaze which engulfed buildings surrounding both Rock City & The Rescue rooms and nearly lost all backline & Merch! Luckily no one was injured and the equipment was rescued, big hand to the Nottingham fire brigade for managing to control the blaze and saving lives!! Pics & videos of the fire can be seen on various Bristish news sites!

The next day, drummer Jonny Harper was rushed into hospital with severe facial abcess and spent the day in hospital on a concoction of medications and drips. Despite being told not to play drums for a week after the op he still managed to make the show at Islington 02 Academy the following night to complete the tour!!

SWORN AMONGST TO SUPPORT ANNIHILATOR ON EUROPEAN TOUR!!

Sworn Amongst are fucking stoked to announce they have been invited to join  the awesome Annihilator on their forth coming tour of Europe and the UK. Spread over 6 weeks the 35 dates start in Paris on October 5th and end  at London's Islington Academy on November 20th.

˜To be supporting one of Metals most influential and respected bands on a tour of this size is a major step forward for Sworn Amongst. Following their success at the Metal Heads Mission Festival in the Ukraine the Band are absolutely stoked to be playing with Jeff and the guys and can’t wait to hit the road in a few weeks time.”

Death & Thrash Destruction End Of Tour Plus New Endorsements and Big News TBA

Firstly, sorry about the delay in updates recently we’ve been away touring hard since April and there’s a lot going on behind the scenes! Our latest tour with Relapses Man Must Die and Metal Blades The Rotted was a killer experience for us all and we have made some awesome new friends along the way, we will be looking forward to seeing those guys again!

Our headline tour with label mates Abadden was also a great experience, playing throughout the months of April & May, and we’d like to say a massive ‘FUCK YEAH!’ to everyone who came out to see us on that tour! It was fucking cool to play back in our home towns of Hull and Derby once again! 

Secondly we have recently been endorsed by the following companies and we would personally like to thank each one!

Rob has recently become part of the Spector Bass family, Jonny has just signed with Mapex and is now playing the Mapex Saturn Pro Supanova! The band collectively is also now endorsed by Ernie Ball and Jim Dunlop which we are mega stoked about.

And finally we have a huge tour to announce immanently which will see us head out over Europe once again for roughly around 7 weeks in duration! WATCH THIS SPACE!

Sworn Amongst Signs with Intromental Management

British thrashers Sworn Amongst have signed a Worldwide management and booking deal with Intromental Management. The deal will ensure that Sworn Amongst will be terrorizing towns worldwide with their crushing new release, Severance.

Sworn Amongst drummer Jonny Harper had this to say about the deal: "The response to the Severance album has been mega! Now we just want to get out there and deliver Severance to audiences. We are excited about the opportunities that Intromental Management will bring to Sworn Amongst."

Sworn Amongst will play their first gig in nearly a year when they kick off their UK "Systematically Exploited" Tour on April 16 in Peterborough with more UK dates to be announced very soon. Intromental Management is currently organising tour dates and festival appearances across Europe and the United States for Sworn Amongst with announcements coming soon.

Intromental Management director Claus Jensen added:"When we first heard the Severance album we knew that this was something unique. Here’s a young thrash metal band that are able to compose modern-sounding songs while still being 100% loyal to the good old days when thrash metal ruled the scene. This band has the youth, the energy and the determination to go far, and we’re thrilled to be able to work together with Sworn Amongst on their upcoming tours and future releases."

Denounced Video Metal Hammer Germany! + UK Pre Orders! & Forthcoming video shoot!

Hey guys - The first airing of the NEW Sworn Amongst Video Single for Denounced will be shown on Youtube today - the video has recently just been completed and will be uploaded via Rising Records, we hope you all enjoy it! It will also be appearing on a DVD Cover mount in a forthcoming issue of Germany’s Metal Hammer magazine! This is a huge honor for us indeed! So big thanks to Metal Hammer Germany! We will also be hosting the video on this very web site too - so check it out!

We would also like to say a HUGE fucking thank you to everyone who has pre ordered Severance be it online or in store! We have just had the Pre order figures and they look extremely healthy! So once again big thanks to all of you guys throughout!

Also as many of you may have already heard we are shooting another NEW Video on Saturday afternoon 12pm February 20th! This Is a live shoot with crowd! Fancy being in the new Sworn Amongst Video? Enjoy drinking free booze, moshing and crowd surfing or just looking bad ass? Well join this facebook group and interact with other people who are attending! Sworn Amongst will also be playing a live gig at the space after the shoot to showcasing new tracks of their new album Severance which is IN STORES MONDAY!

Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson plays Sworn Amongst + Sworn Amongst Club Promo Feedback & Sworn Amongst In Terrorizer Magazine!

Its Been a busy week for us one way or another with coordinating our forthcoming touring plans for Severance and everything in between. 

We are also delighted to tell you that Iron Maidens Bruce Dickinson has play listed Out Of Line (Scathing Injustice) from our forthcoming album Severance on his show and its first airing was January 15th! This is a huge honour indeed! 

Secondly we have received the first batch of our club promo reports for Severance containing information showing 85% of DJs and Audiences voted in the good and excellent columns on the feedback charts! We were really pleased to see your feedback and big thanks to all you ladies and gents out there that enjoyed the tunes it means alot to us! So horns up to you guys!

Thirdly we have a cover mount CD Track on this months issue of Terrorizer Magazine, the track is Denounced and it’s track 2 on the CD, there is also a pic and description in the magazine as well as an ad for Severance on the back outside cover!

Sworn Amongst : Welcome!

Welcome to the New Look Sworn Amongst.co.uk its been a really busy year for us behind the scenes with both the writing & Recording our forthcoming Album Severance and in between all of this, some of you mayl have seen us this year at Metal Hammers Hammerfest Festival sharing the bill with the likes of Opeth & Sepletura or on Tour with Breed 77 & Susperia.

We have been really busy setting things in motion ready for the release of Severance on FEBRUARY 15th, The Album will be online and in stores WORLDWIDE distributed via PlasticHead with an accompanying Limited edition Digi Pack release! (PRE ORDER YOUR COPY ONLINE TODAY) Alongside all of this we have a full new range of merchandise which can be seen in the store section of this site! 

This Weekend we shall be Shooting the video for the forthcoming single entitled Denouced We're filming at The Waterhouse Studio in 3 Mills, London with the likes of Tim Burton and David Cronenberg filming there previously! We shall also be shooting for the New Sworn Amongst press photo’s the following day - Busy weekend!

Sworn Amongst are also on the Back Cover of this Months Terrorizer magazine and a page in the latest issue of Powerplay magazines! Be sure to check these magazines out as they are an essential read for any extreme metal fan!We shall be hitting the road again in early march, with a 3 week headlining tour accompanied by Thrash Metallers, Abbaden.
